Fundraising for a historic landmark.

Adventures in Printmaking, gratitude / Thursday, May 1st, 2014

The Phoenix Shot tower, also known as the Old Baltimore Shot Tower, is a rich part of Baltimore’s history and a valuable landmark. The people at the Carroll Museums are working hard to preserve and to ensure that generations to come will get to enjoy this landmark as a part of their city scape.

Every year they hold a Gala event, and they pull out all the stops, with a silent auction, live music, and great yummy food!

This year I was honored to be asked to create art at their event!

I worked on site and created a 4x6inch block from a photograph of the shot tower, and printed a run of 10 numbered prints. By the end of the night they were framed and some were even sold!
